Wellbutrin(bupropion) andCelexa(citalopramhydrobromide) areantidepressantsused to treatdepression.

Wellbutrin is also used to manageseasonal affective disorder(SAD).

Wellbutrin and Celexa (citalopram hydrobromide) are different types of antidepressants. Celexa is aselective serotonin reuptake inhibitor(SSRI) and Wellbutrin an aminoketone.

Commonside effectsof Wellbutrin include:

• agitation,
• dry mouth,
• insomnia,
• headache,
• nausea,

• constipation,

• dizziness,

Celexa is a prescription medicine used to treat depression. It is important to talk with your healthcare provider about the risks of treating depression and also the risks of not treating it. You should discuss all treatment choices with your healthcare provider. Celexa is also used to treat Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)

Wellbutrin may interact withinsulin,bloodthinners, andasthmamedications. Wellbutrin may also interact with many medications includingheartorblood pressuremedications,HIVorAIDSmedications,seizuremedications, other antidepressants, medicines to treat apsychiatricdisorder, antibiotics,antihistaminesthat make you sleepy, bronchodilators, birthcontrolpills orhormonereplacementestrogens,bladderorurinarymedications, diet pills, stimulants,ADHDmedications,oraldiabetesmedication, medicines for nausea/vomiting/运动病状ss, medications to treat or preventmalaria, medicines to treat帕金森病, medication forrestless leg syndrome, medication forpituitary glandtumor, medicines used to preventorgantransplantrejection, narcotics, numbing medicines, steroids,theophylline, orulceror irritablebowelmedications.

Do Not take Cymbalta if you:

• take a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI). Ask your healthcare provider or药剂师if you are not sure if you take anMAOI, including theantibioticlinezolidorintravenousmethylene blue.
• Do not take an MAOI within 5 days of stoppingCymbaltaunless directed to do so by your healthcare provider.
• Do not start Cymbalta if you stopped taking an MAOI in the last 14 days unless directed to do so by your healthcare provider.

Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines that you take,including prescription andover-the-countermedicines,vitamins, andherbalsupplements. Cymbalta and some medicines may interact with each other, may not work as well, or may cause serious side effects.

Especially tell your healthcare provider if you take:

• triptans used to treatmigraine headache
• medicines used to treat mood,anxiety, psychotic or thought disorders, including tricyclics,lithium, buspirone, SSRIs, SNRIs or MAOIs
• tramadoland fentanyl
• amphetamines
• cimetidine
• the antibioticsciprofloxacin, enoxacin
• medicine to treat irregularheart rate(likepropafenone,flecainide, quinidine)
• theophylline
• the blood thinnerwarfarin(Coumadin,Jantoven)
• non-steroidalanti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) (likeibuprofen,naproxenoraspirin).
• over-the-counter supplements such astryptophanor St. John's Wort
• thioridazine(Mellaril). Mellaril together with Cymbalta can cause serious heart rhythm problems or suddendeath.

Ask your healthcare provider for a list of these medicines if you are not sure.

Do not take Cymbalta with any other medicine that containduloxetine.

• Take Wellbutrin exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not change your dose or stop taking Wellbutrin without talking with your healthcare provider first.
• Swallow Wellbutrin tablets whole. Do not chew,cut, or crush Wellbutrin tablets.
• Take Wellbutrin at the same time each day.
• Take your doses of Wellbutrin at least 6 hours apart.
• You may take Wellbutrin with or withoutfood.
• If you miss a dose, do not take an extra dose to make up for the dose you missed. Wait and take your next dose at the regular time. This is very important. Too much Wellbutrin can increase your chance of having a seizure.
• If you take too much Wellbutrin, or overdose, call your local emergency room orpoison control centerright away.
• Do not take any other medicines while taking Wellbutrin unless your healthcare provider has told you it is okay.
• If you are taking Wellbutrin for the treatment of major depressive disorder, it may take several weeks for you to feel that Wellbutrin is working. Once you feel better, it is important to keep taking Wellbutrin exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. Call your healthcare provider if you do not feel Wellbutrin is working for you.

Take Celexa exactly as prescribed. Your healthcare provider may need to change the dose of Celexa until it is the right dose for you.

Celexa may be taken with or without food.

If you miss a dose of Celexa, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses of Celexa at the same time.

If you take too much Celexa, call your healthcare provider orpoisoncontrol center right away, or get emergency treatment.
