Vumerity(diroximel fumarate) andOcrevus(ocrelizumab) are used to treat relapsing forms ofmultiple sclerosis(MS).

Ocrevus is also used to treatprimaryprogressiveforms of multiplesclerosis.

Vumerity and Ocrevus belong to different drug classes. Vumerity is an immunomodulator and Ocrevus is a CD20-directed cytolyticantibody.

Side effectsof Vumerity that are different from Ocrevus include flushing,abdominal pain,diarrhea,nausea, vomiting,itching,rash,albuminintheurine, redness, and indigestion/heartburn.

Side effects of Ocrevus that are different from Vumerity include upper and lowerrespiratorytract infections, infusion reactions (itching, rash,hives, redness, bronchospasm, swollen andsore throat,mouthpain,shortness of breath, flushing,hypotension,fever,fatigue,headache,dizziness, nausea, and fastheart rate),skininfections,depression,back pain, and pain in the extremities.

Vumerity may interact with dimethyl fumarate.

Ocrevus may interact with otherimmune-modulating orimmunosuppressivetherapies, includingimmunosuppressantdoses of corticosteroids.

Common side effects of Vumerity include:

• flushing,
• abdominalpain,
• diarrhea,
• nausea,
• vomiting,
• itching,
• rash,
• albumin in the urine,
• redness, and
• indigestion/heartburn

Common side effects of Ocrevus include:

• upper respiratory tract infections,
• infusion reactions (itching, rash, hives, redness, bronchospasm, swollen andsorethroat, mouth pain, shortness of breath, flushing, hypotension, fever, fatigue, headache, dizziness, nausea, and fastheartrate),
• skin infections,
• lower respiratory tract infections,
• depression,
• back pain, and
• pain in the extremities.

Vumerity (diroximel fumarate) is an immunomodulator indicated for the treatment of relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), to include clinically isolatedsyndrome, relapsing-remittingdisease, and active secondary progressive disease, in adults.

Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) injection is aCD20-directed cytolytic antibody indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsing or primary progressive forms of multiple sclerosis.

Hepatitis Bvirusscreening is required before the first dose of Ocrevus.
