Dr.Ben Wedro practices emergency medicine atGundersen Clinic, a regionaltrauma centerinLa Crosse, Wisconsin.Hisbackground includes undergraduate and medical studies at theUniversity of Alberta, aFamilyPractice internship atQueen's University in Kingston, Ontarioand residency training in Emergency Medicine at theUniversity of OklahomaHealthSciences Center. He is a diplomat of theAmerican Board of Emergency Medicineand aLife Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Wedro is aClinicalProfessor in theDepartment of Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madisonand Adjunct Faculty at theUniversity of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He has previously held teaching appointments at the University of Oklahoma and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
As well, Dr. Wedro works with a variety of media outlets including newspaper and television networks providing medical background information. This has included work at numerous large events including summer and winter Olympics Games, FIFA World Cup and the PanAmGames.
