Ceftin (cefuroxime) is a cephalosporin antibiotic. Ceftin is available as ageneric drugand is prescribed to treat infections with susceptiblebacteriaincluding skin andmiddle earinfections,tonsillitis,throatinfections,laryngitis,bronchitis,pneumonia,urinary tractinfections, andgonorrhea.
