Osmolex ER (amantadineextended-release tablets) is indicated for the treatment of drug-induced extrapyramidal reactions in adult patients with Parkinson's disease.

Nourianz may interact with itraconazole, ketoconazole, clarithromycin,carbamazepine, rifampin,phenytoin, St. John's wort, midazolam, atorvastatin, and digoxin. Nourianz is not recommended for use duringpregnancy; it may harm afetus. Women of childbearing potential are advised to use contraception during treatment with Nourianz. It is unknown if Nourianz passes intobreast milkor how it wouldaffectanursinginfant. Consult yourdoctorbeforebreastfeeding.

Osmolex ER may interact with anticholinergic drugs, drugs affecting urinary pH (e.g., carbonic anhydrase inhibitors,sodiumbicarbonate), live influenza vaccines, and alcohol. Tell your doctor all medications and supplements you use. Osmolex ER is not recommended for use during pregnancy; it may harm a fetus. Osmolex ER passes intobreastmilk but its effects on nursing infants is unknown. Consult your doctor before breastfeeding.
