Rarely, after taking Lunesta, people have gotten out of bed and driven vehicles while not fully awake ("sleep-driving"). People have also sleepwalked, prepared/eatenfood, made phone calls, or had sex while not fully awake. Often, these people do not remember these events. This problem can be dangerous to you or to others. If you find out that you have done any of these activities after taking Lunesta, tell your doctor right away.

Lunesta may interact with alcohol, other medicines that make you sleepy or slow your breathing (such as cold medicines, pain medications, muscle relaxants, and medicines for depression, anxiety, or seizures),ketoconazole,rifampin, orantidepressants.

What Drugs Interact With Xanax?

Xanax may interact with cold orallergymedicine,narcoticpain medicine, sleeping pills, muscle relaxers, medicine for depression or anxiety, antibiotics,antifungalmedicines, antidepressants, and barbiturates. Xanax may also interact withbirth controlpills, cimetidine, cyclosporine, dexamethasone, ergotamine, imatinib, isoniazid, St. John's wort, heart orbloodpressure medications, HIV/AIDS medicines, andseizuremedications.

How Should Lunesta Be Taken?

The recommended starting dose of Lunesta is 1mg, taken with a full glass ofwater. Avoid taking Lunesta within 1 hour after eating a high-fator heavy meal, because this will make it harder for your body toabsorbthe medication.

How Should Xanax Be Taken?

Take Xanax exactly as your healthcare provider tells you to take it. Your healthcare provider will tell you how much Xanax to take and when to take it. If you take too much Xanax, call your healthcare provider or go to the nearesthospitalemergency room right away.

Xanax is a benzodiazepine medicine. Taking benzodiazepines withopioidmedicines, alcohol, or othercentral nervous systemdepressants (including street drugs) can cause severe drowsiness, breathing problems (respiratory depression),comaanddeath.

Xanax can make you sleepy or dizzy, and can slow your thinking andmotorskills.

Do not drive, operate heavy machinery, or do other dangerous activities until you know how Xanax affects you.

Do not drink alcohol or take other drugs that may make you sleepy or dizzy while taking Xanax without first talking to your healthcare provider. When taken with alcohol or drugs that cause sleepiness or dizziness, Xanax may make your sleepiness or dizziness much worse.

Do not take more Xanax than prescribed.
