Thiazide combos consist of twoantihypertensivedrugs used for lowering blood pressure. They may consist of a combination of a thiazide drug and other antihypertensive drugs that may have additive effects.

Thiazide diuretics lower blood pressure by increasing the excretion of salt and water, whereas otherhypertensivedrugs may block the activity of chemical messengers acting on the cardiac muscles to reduce the workload of the heart and increase the blood flow through the blood vessels.
